Before that horrific night of flooding, we had spent an evening at the fair enjoying each other, petting animals, observing the incredible talents of others and of course eating delicious cotton candy and elephant ears(scones)!!
Besides my unfortunate fat lipped baby who also unfortunately got sunscreen in her eyes, we we're a completely hot happy bunch.
The county fair is an occasion that we as a family look forward to every year.
