"Not by might, nor by power, but by MY spirit"

*Alyssa Grace Photography
"... Everything that was written in the past was written to teach us, so that through endurance and the encouragement of the scriptures we might have hope. May the God who gives endurance and encouragement give you a spirit of unity among yourselves as you follow Christ Jesus so that with one heart and mouth you may glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Accept one another then, just as Christ accepted you, in order to bring praise to God."
Romans 15:4-7
~
How sweet it is when we, as brothers and sisters in Christ memorize, exhort, love, encourage, pray, remind and quote God's ageless Word to each other! God uses His Word to speak into our hearts, change and grow us up in Him... His Word is alive, active and tests our every thought and action and is indeed beneficial in any situation... His Words speak life into the wilderness of our souls... God's words are never influenced by feelings, emotions or tainted with selfishness... His words spawn from perfect love. Divide and conquer. Loose the bonds of sin. Give peace. Hope. Direction. Praise. Not words from within myself or in my power, as to open up feelings of being puffed up or boastful, but the welling up of His words pouring forth from a heart of gratitude for His provisions for us at just the right moment! Healing. Changing. Encouraging.
I crave His powerful words, spoken from a dear one's heart, drenching my parched life with the water of His Word!
How much more often we should be letting God use us to speak to those around us, HIS words... rather than the words we deem necessary in and of our fleshly selves.
Our God is our everything and everything we will ever need for life and godliness is found in His Word and is made tangible through our relationship with Him.
Praise His Holy name!
